Noura can offer therapy and parental guidance at a fixed location in Amsterdam, but given the target group, it also works on a mobile basis. For example, the therapist works at (newcomer) schools, asylum seekers’ centers, protection homes and family homes.
At Praktijk Noura, the outdoor space can also be used when appropriate for the process and in consultation with the child and parents. Being outdoors offers children the opportunity to move, play, and experience in a free and natural way.
In the outdoor environment, children can discover and experience materials from nature, such as leaves, sand, soil, shells, and pebbles. By experimenting with these materials and using movement games, children can experiment and experience, creating space for relaxation, expressing feelings, and increasing body awareness.

Rates
An introductory meeting is entirely without obligation and there are no costs associated with it.
Parent consultations and parent guidance are charged at 80 euros per hour.
With the parents’ permission, the therapist sometimes also holds consultations with teachers or other relevant parties involved with the child.
The rates include VAT.
Fees & conditions
Noura is affiliated with the Dutch Association of Play Therapists (NVVS) and the Federation of Expressove Therapeutic Professions (FVB). Ylva van den Berg is a qualified and registered member of the NVVS. The NVVS initiates contact with health insurers to secure reimbursement for play therapy. A large number of health insurers reimburse play therapy (partially) through supplementary insurance.
Kind en jeugd vaktherapie amsterdam
Noura works for Kind en Jeugd Vaktherapie Amsterdam, which offers all forms of creative therapy for children (2.5 to 18 years old) for the regular treatment of psychosocial and mental health issues.
Bocah Donya
Noura works as a subcontractor for the organization Bocah Donya in the Heerhugowaard and Alkmaar region. Bocah Donya provides intercultural support and advice to children, young people, and families. Bocah Donya has contracts with the municipalities in this region.
